A 25 metre pool provides ample space for those residents wishing to train and keep fit, as well as for those residents and families wishing to play and cool off during the summer days.
During the summer period Aquarobics are held twice a week from 8H00 to 9H00. During this period a portion of the pool is kept free for those members wishing to swim lengths.
There are 2 (two) children’s paddling pools.
Gymnasium
The Association has a very well equipped gym for use by Residents ONLY. Residents may NOT bring in friends to use the gym. Non residents may NOT use the gym.
A private gym instructor/personal coach/fitness instructor may be hired by residents for their personal use.
The gym is open from 05:00 till 22:00 each day.
TENNIS
There are 2 (two) tennis courts for use by Residents.
Residents may bring in players from outside to form a game.
SQUASH
Two newly refurbished squash courts are available for Residents.
Residents may bring in a player from outside for a game.
YOGA & PILATES
Instructors make use of one of the squash courts on the days when these are offered.
PÈTANQUE (BOULES)
A pètanque court has been laid out adjacent to the tennis courts, below the swimming pool area.
A group of members have formed a small “boule club”.
BRIDGE
The Hemel & Aarde Bridge Group meets every Wednesday from 14H00 till done, in the Clubhouse or Bar area.

ART LESSONS
The Art group meets in the Clubhouse every Wednesday morning. The regular Paint & Sip evenings are always very popular.
BINGO
Bingo enthusiasts meet every first Wednesday of the Month at the Clubhouse at 18H00, where participants bring a plate of eats and liquid refreshment is provided by the Bar. The cost is R60 per sheet and all the proceeds are used for the prizes of the evening.
No persons under the age of 18 are permitted.
QUIZ AND MUSIC NIGHTS
These popular events are organised sporadically for the entertainment of Residents and their friends.
LIBRARY
The lounge of the Clubhouse houses a well stocked library for the use of all residents, young and old. This functions on an honour system. Residents are invited to donate books to the library when they are done with these at home.
BRAAI AREA
Within the swimming pool area, adjacent to the Bar is a spacious Braai area equipped with four (4) individual braai areas. Residents are encouraged to bring and braai whenever they feel the urge. Wood can be brought in or purchased from the Bar.
CHILDRENS’ PLAY AREA
There is a jungle gym, mini soccer nets, sand pit and other childrens’ play equipment.

STEAMROOM
The Estate also has private open space of approximately 51 300 m2 along the northern ridge largely covered with fynbos and some trees. There are footpaths leading to and from the area which opens up spectacular views with the tranquility of being away from the bustle.
